![]() You might be wondering if “cream-to-powder” also means like “drying”. The texture is very creamy but set pretty quickly to a matte finish so I have to blend fast. To be more specific, this concealer has a blendable cream-to-powder consistency. To my surprise, despite being thick it is quite lightweight and still has full coverage. Okay, as first I thought the Shape Tape Contour Concealer would have high coverage but feel heavy since I had heard so many people raving about how great the coverage was. no fading, no oxidizing, no settling in pores, no greasing). I was even more surprised when I checked my makeup after a long day at work: my base makeup still looked great (i.e. So that was it for the base! After that I just applied some blush (no need for contouring because applying the concealer only on the center of my face already created the dimensional effect) and moved on to my brow and eye makeup. I didn’t even need to use a setting powder because the concealer already set to a soft matte finish. The coverage was so good yet I hardly felt anything and the finish looked so natural that I though it was my skin that looked naturally pretty (lol). I didn’t know I would love this product that much until one lazy day I decided to use it as the sole base makeup: after sunscreen, I applied the Shape Tape Contour Concealer on the under-eye areas, my inner cheeks, around nose and mouth, on the T-zone, and on my chin. ![]() However, to me this big applicator makes it harder to control the amount I need so I always have to put some product onto the back of my hand first, then use a finger to apply onto my face and a brush/spunge to blend. The name suggests that we can also use this product to highlight and contour (probably by using shades lighter and darker than our skin tone), but because I always prefer powders to do those jobs, I only see it as a concealer that I absolutely LOVE! The concealer has a very big doe-foot applicator to make it easy to apply on large areas. It got the shade Light Neutral which has a little bit of a yellow tone compared to the shade Light. The Shape Tape Contour Concealer has 10 ml/ 0.3381 Fl. ![]() I haven’t seen any concealer that can do both for me … until now. I normally require 2 different types of concealers for those 2 purposes because concealers with high coverage (which are good to cover blemishes) are often too thick and heavy to use on the under-eye areas and ones with thin and lightweight consistency (perfect for under-eye areas) are not pigmented enough for acne coverage. However, sometimes I do need to cover those red pimples popping out of nowhere or the dark circles resulting from watching Korean dramas until 2 AM in the morning. A concealer is not something I use on a daily basis since I hate having more than 1 layer of base makeup on my face.
